About Us
A place for your children to flourish
The Children of Somers Daycare was created by mothers who believe that there should be an alternative to large daycare centers. As a mother-daughter team, we’ve crafted a teacher-approved preschool program that fosters productive play and concentrates on socialization to give kids the skills they need to succeed in kindergarten.
Personalized care
For children 6 weeks-12 years old
Each child will be given the attention and tools they need to stay on track in their development. Care for infants is based on families individual needs along with expert guidance and updates on your child's growth. Beyond your child's comfort, health and safety are our top priority. From the classroom to the playground, high standards of cleanliness and safety procedures ensure the security of our student's health. We are CDA, MAT, CPR, AED and pediatric first aid certified.

Growth goes beyond knowing your ABCs
The Children of Somers Daycare is proud to provide a stimulating and age-appropriate curriculum that is licensed and regulated by the New York State Office of Children and Family Services. Our diverse program includes foreign languages, yoga, introduction to world cultures, manners, and computer skills. After a nourishing home-made breakfast, children get a kick start to their day during circle time where they learn more about the world through a daily theme, sign language, along with their letters and numbers.

We understand the importance of an atmosphere which fosters socialization and interpersonal connections on a small scale. Children are happiest when they get to create friendships and receive personal attention from people they know and see on a daily basis.
